*St. Paul's Ministries

St. Paul's United Church organizes itself around four special ministries:

          1. Workship

Our Ministry of Workship encompasses our practices and our beliefs. We have an active Worship Committee that ensures that our services of workship fall within the guidelines of the United Church of Canada but also faithfully strives to reflect the individual and collective needs of the St. Paul's Congregation. The documents linked to this Ministry will provide the reader with a broader view of the resources that assist us in our journey of faith.

 The Worship Committee

The Worship Committee organizes the services of worship, taking into consideration the Christian seasons and special events in our church. They are responsible for pulpit supply when the minister is away or on vacation, over-sight of the Choir and music, organizing Communion - preparers and servers, scheduling lay readers and ushers, planning baptisms, confirmations and transfers of membership, sponsoring the new members luncheon and mid-week Bible Study.

The Worship Committee meets the second Tuesday evening of each month, excepting the summer months. It meets in the minister's office and welcomes congregational input and ideas pertaining to Sunday worship at St. Paul's.
